The fun thing about the DuckTales reboot having retconned all of Scrooge’s wealth as the spoils of fantasy dungeon crawls because nobody would find him sympathetic if he were still depicted as Rockefeller-style capitalist is that it’s now completely reasonable to run DuckTales using Dungeons & Dragons.

so what class would that make the casts then, aside from Donald as Berserker Barbarian?

I’d run it in 4E, not 5E, because a. 4E is all about the “dungeon as series of elaborately staged action set-pieces loosely connected by freeform talky bits” format, b. it has explicit support for “all martial” parties, removing the need for awkward mechanical workarounds to compensate for a lack of PC spellcasters, and c. it’s shockingly easy to reskin the basic Charismatic Warlord build as a Heroic Businessman.
